The worker village
of Crespi d’Adda

The worker village Crespi d’Adda is located in Capriate San Gervasio, Bergamo, on an area of 85 hectares. Include in the list of the heritage of humanity, the houses for the blue collars the church, the school, the cemetery, the little hospital, the Dopolavoro, the power plan and the villa-castle owned by the family Crespi are in a perfect state of conservation.

In 1995 Crespi d’Adda became member of the worldwide heritage list as "example of the phenomenon of the worker villages, the best kept and the most complete in Europe".
